League Of Legends Kicks Off Season 3 With A New Balance Patch
Fans of Riot Games’ insanely popular F2P MOBA League of Legends will be delighted to hear that Season 3 of the game’s pro-level ranked play is officially underway and that Riot has heralded Season 3’s debut with a new patch.
While the pro-level matches themselves won’t begin until February 7th (in both North America and Europe), all players can get in on the action early with the new patch that went live yesterday. In addition to the brand new tiered league ranking system (which you can find out more about here), the patch also brings a bevy of new character and item tweaks.
The video below highlights both the new tiered ranking system, which encompasses six different tiers of varying skill levels, as well as a few of the more notable tweaks which include changes to characters such as Shaco, Master Yi, and Olaf as well as items such as the Sunfire Cape and Giant’s Belt.
