Mass Effect Voice Actor Robin Sachs Passes Away
Space is the final frontier but death is only the beginning of a new journey for Robin Sachs.
The voice of Mass Effect character Zaeed Massani, Robin Sachs, has passed away at the age of 61. A post on Sachs’ official website said he died from causes unknown.
“This is a post we never thought we would have to write,” the post began.
“It is with great sadness that we have to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Robin Sachs.
“Please join us in raising a glass to Robin – goodbye, dear friend. Thank you for all the laughter and the cookies. We will miss you so very much.”
Sachs’ voiced characters in numerous BioWare games from roles in Dragon Age: Origins to Admiral Saul Karath in KotOR.
He was well known for his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Ethan Rayne.
