Tyranny Of King Washington Gets New Trailer And Episode Release Dates
A few weeks ago Ubisoft confirmed February 19th as the release date for the first episode of the highly anticipated alternate reality DLC for Assassin’s Creed 3: Tyranny of King Washington. Now they’re following up not only with release dates for the second two episodes, but also a brand new trailer that focuses on ‘Tyranny’s’ much different take on AC3 protagonist Connor.
Judging by the planned release dates for the latter two episodes of ‘Tyranny’ it’s clear Ubisoft wants to give gamers time to soak in and absorb all that happens in each episode. After the first episode, titled “The Infamy”, is released on February 19th, players will have to wait an entire month before the second episode, “The Betrayal”, is released on March 19th. Finally, an even longer wait is in store for the third and final episode titled “The Redemption” which will be released on April 23rd.
Thankfully the promise of a long wait isn’t the only news Ubisoft is giving fans today. A new trailer for ‘Tyranny’ has also been unveiled, showcasing some of Ratonhnhaketon’s abilities (since it’s an alternate reality, Connor was never given the name of “Connor”).
According to the trailer, Ratonhnhaketon will have an even deeper connection with nature than his standard reality counterpart. So much so, that he’ll be able to summon a pack of wolves to aid him in battle, use stat-boosting War Paint on his face and body, and even channel various animal spirits such as the Power of the Bear for increased strength, the Power of the Eagle for enhanced agility and speed, or the Power of the Wolf to briefly turn invisible.
Each episode of Tyranny of King Washington will be available for $9.99/800 Microsoft Points and all three are included in the Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass which is available for $29.99/2400 MS Points (the Season Pass also includes the ‘Battle-Hardened’ and ‘Hidden Secrets’ DLC packs).
