Capcom has finally given DmC fans a release date for the upcoming epilogue DLC for DmC: Devil May Cry that stars Dante’s white-haired twin brother Vergil.
The ‘Vergil’s Downfall’ DLC for DmC: Devil May Cry will be available on March 6th and will feature a brand new storyline complete with new enemies to battle against and new areas to explore. In addition to his trusty Yamato katana and spiritual sword projectiles, Vergil will be able to acquire new demonic and angelic weapons as he struggles to recover from the events of the base game. His combat style has been described as being more “elegant” and “refined” than that of his fiery twin brother’s and players will get to see just *how* elegant when the DLC goes live in early March.
‘Vergil’s Downfall’ will cost $8.99 (720 Microsoft Points) but Gamestop PowerUp Rewards members who pre-ordered DmC should recall that a code for ‘Vergil’s Downfall’ was included on their receipt.
Fans who simply can’t wait to get in on more DmC action will also be delighted to hear that the ‘Bloody Palace’ update for the game is out today. The update, which features 100 levels of pure combat, is absolutely free.
