New Borderlands 2 DLC Character Set for PAX East Reveal
A teaser trailer surfaced at SXSW 2013 for the forthcoming addition to the Borderlands 2 roster, but full details aren’t to be revealed until PAX East toward the end of March.
From the trailer, it would appear the new character is melee-focused, not unlike Brick from the original Borderlands, which may be a nice treat for his fans from the first game. Gearbox has stated this new character is not included for those who purchased the DLC online pass, which was only for story content. The first DLC character, Gaige the Mechromancer, was a seperate purchase for those who did not pre-order the game and was not part of the season pass either, so this comes as no surprise.
The end of the trailer dates the reveal for midday Sunday at PAX East, so even those attending will have a bit of wait to see what Gearbox has in store.
