Keiji Inafune’s Mighty No. 9 will find a home on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Vita, and 3DS thanks to its Kickstarter reaching the stretch goal of $3.5 million. The last few days have brought more success to Mighty No. 9 when it reached the next gen stretch goal of $3.3 million, and the announcement that handhelds would be possible if $3.5 million was received. Today, the final day, they have passed that amount and still rise with six hours left.
Three more stretch goals currently remain, with more possible if all three are obtained before the Kickstarter ends at 5:19 pm Pacific time. If $3.7 million is achieved, a new single-player level will be included into the game which features a new boss and the ability to play as Mighty No. 9 heroine, Call. An optional retro soundtrack and sound effects are the reward if it reaches the $3.8 million stretch goal, and finally, the $3.9 million goal will give players the ability to play an online battle race mode.
The last final hours will have updates on the Kickstarter page ranging from updated stretch goals, a fan tribute video, and a livestream. If you would like to contribute to Mighty No. 9, you can go to their Kickstarter and chip in some funds there or use their recently added Paypal option.
Mighty No. 9 is currently scheduled to arrive in April 2015 to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, 3DS, Vita, Wii U, PC, Mac, and Linux.
