The first trailer for Game of Thrones  season 4 has been officially revealed.

Following on from the news of a release date scheduled for April 6 in the USA and April 7 in the UK, the first official trailer premiered and builds up the anticipation for any Game of Thrones fan.

In the trailer, fan-favorites return including Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). We also get a glimpse at a clean shaven Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) holding a sword with his other arm and also the wedding between Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer).

This series will add some new actors to the cast, including  Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) and Pedro Pascal (Homeland), with the latter assuming the role of Prince Oberyn Martell, aka The Red Viper.

Season 4 will resume with 10 new episodes starting this April in the US and UK.
