XDA member conRawr is fed up with “the ugly interface that is currently in use” in Steam’s current Android app, so he modded it to create a a Holo version following the Android design guidelines almost to a tee.

The Holo Steam app is basically the same application, just following the latest Android design guidelines, so now there are high quality chat bubbles and a unified action bar, just to name a few changes.

The developer has released several screenshots (2 shown below) to display the features.

Nice to see it's spreading around, thanks for featuring this. It only started off as a personal project for me and a couple of other friends, I never thought I'd be releasing it to more than 10 people, never mind this.

Sorry about that, fixing now.

Thanks! I should be releasing another app which will do automatic updates to this app, I would add it to the Steam app itself, but due to their terrible original code, it's not too easy to do.
